If you wish to object to the collection, processing, or use of your data by Zowie bvba (Babazou) according to these data protection provisions, in whole or for specific measures, you can also send your objection by email or letter to the aforementioned contact details.
What data do we collect and why?
You share data with us in various ways. We use data that we have received from you, as well as data collected by ourselves. For example, data about your visit to our stores and/or website.

6. Newsletter subscription

Who has access to your data?
In order to process your personal data, we grant access to your personal data to our employees. We guarantee a similar level of protection by making contractual obligations enforceable against these employees, similar to this Privacy Policy.
Transfer to third parties
Occasionally, we use an external processor to help us with certain services. When you become a customer of Babazou, we store certain data. Therefore, you also have a number of rights regarding this data.
1. Right of access and inspection
You have the right to access your personal data free of charge at any time, as well as to understand how we use your personal data.
2. Right to rectification, erasure, and restriction
You are free to disclose your personal data to Babazou or not. In addition, you always have the right to ask us to rectify, supplement, or delete your personal data. You may also request to restrict the processing of your personal data.
You acknowledge that if you refuse to provide personal data or request its deletion, certain services and products may not be available.
3. Right to object
You also have a right to object to the processing of your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons. In addition, you always have the right to object to the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes; in such a case, you do not need to provide any reasons.
4. Right to data portability

This request should clearly state what you wish to know, correct, or delete. If you wish for us to delete your data, you must also specifically motivate this. This request must be signed and dated and include a copy of the front of your identity card. If these conditions are met, Babazou will comply with your request as soon as possible and inform you about it.
If you exercise your right of access, Babazou will provide you with as complete an overview as possible of your data. It is possible that some personal data from traditional backup files, log, history or archive files are not included in this overview. This data is not part of the currently processed personal data and is therefore not immediately available and cannot be provided. However, it will be removed from these files according to standard processes.

7. Automated decisions and profiling
The processing of your personal data includes profiling and may mean that it is subject to automated decisions by us.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Privacy Commission.
This does not prejudice recourse to a civil court. If you suffer damage as a result of the processing of your personal data, you can claim compensation.

We have security measures in place, both technical and organizational, to prevent the destruction, loss, falsification, alteration, unauthorized access, or accidental disclosure of collected personal data to third parties, as well as any other unauthorized processing of this data.
In no event can Babazou be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from incorrect or unlawful use by a third party of the personal data.
You must at all times comply with the security regulations, including by preventing any unauthorized access to your login and code. You are therefore solely responsible for the use made from the website of your computer, IP address, and your identification data, as well as for their confidentiality.
